Your privacy matters to us. This page explains what data we collect and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect#

We don’t collect personal information such as your name unless you choose to share it voluntarily — for example, by subscribing to our newsletter.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store only your email address, in our own PocketBase instance, for the sole purpose of sending you updates about new posts.

When we send out a mailing, we export the subscriber list to Sender.net, a trusted third-party email delivery service, solely to send our newsletters. Sender.net does not use your data for its own marketing and does not share it with anyone else.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email or by contacting us at info@staticnoise.media. We never send spam or advertising messages.

3. Analytics#

For minimal statistics, we use a self-hosted analytics tool, Umami. It collects only anonymous, aggregated data (like page views and browser type), does not use cookies, and does not track you across other websites.

4. No Advertising or Tracking#

This site carries no advertising and no third-party trackers. We don’t use banner ads, contextual ads, or third-party analytics services.

We never sell, rent, or otherwise share your data, aside from the newsletter export described in section 2.
